Let's go to the movies! SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME opens nationwide October 20. It is based on the true story of a life changing friendship between a wealthy man and a homeless man. The New York Times bestselling book, by the same name, is gospel oriented, but the movie does bring a sharp awareness to the problem of homelessness. A premier showing of the movie at Cinemark on Wednesday, October 18, will benefit the Keystone Mission. Order tickets to that early showing at and click on Red Carpet Event. "Let's bring the homeless home."

You may have seen one of these Faith Promise pledge cards in your bulletin recently. It is a card used to pledge an amount above and beyond your regular giving to support missions around the world. Prayerfully consider what your part will be in pledging continued support for our missionaries. Completed faith promise cards will be collected during offering from now until October 8th. Please know how grateful our missionaries are for your faithful support.

Flood is our ministry to youth, grades 7-12. They get together Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 PM during the school year, and for special events.

Youth also get together Sunday evenings, for what they call Overflow. See the Youth Ministry page for more details, or contact Pastor Joseph.

This fall, the women's evening Bible study will be using the book Prevailing Prayer, by D. L. Moody, a man who deeply believed in prayer. The book is a primer on prayer, in which Moody addresses different aspects of prevailing prayer, such as adoration, confession, forgiveness, and more. According to the foreword, the reader is encouraged to "sip, don't gulp" the information. We will try to do exactly that. Click the image to view and order the book.

Please consider joining us Thursday evenings at 7:00 at Bev's house. We expect to begin September 28.
